Daily Insight: Ignite the Imagination

There are many things in this world that can ignite the imagination, but one of the most effective ways to get in touch with the imagination flowing is to play with is your inner child. Allowing your inner child to come out and play will allow you to really embrace the creativity within your Soul.

Just for today… do something totally out of the ordinary.

Grab a box of wax crayons, colored pencils or felt-tip pens (For the South Africans "Koki pens"), then start drawing - let the imagination and creativity flow. Don't feel like you have to draw perfect, artistic pictures - allow the hand to just flow with your imagination, give yourself full permission to "draw outside the lines". Draw a picture of you, your family, the house, the dogs and cats, the sun and moon…. anything that comes to mind.

Do you remember when last did you did that..? Most of us would probably say when we were 5 years old!

Find that creative artist within.. and start drawing, experiment with doodles if you are struggling to get in touch with you creativity but, no matter what give it a try. Think of things that inspire your mind and Soul. After a couple of drawings you will get into the swing of it and your imagination will be on fire!

Flow with your inner creativity!

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” ~ Albert Einstein
