Have you ever experienced the "vibrational" power of the spoken word? Have you ever noticed how peoples words affect you energetically? Whether the words are spoken directly to you or to a group. Have you ever noticed a light of energy being released as, they speak each word and, how that light affects you physically, mentally or emotionally?
One of my most recent experiences was listening to someone read a poem from Rumi - as, the first couple of words left his mouth there was this intense release of light energy that awakened all my senses. I could feel the positive vibrations of those words lift my spirit - when you experience something like that as either for the first time or as a reminder of the power of words, it makes you heart smile!
We should all pay attention to the power within each spoken word. It is not just the words meaning that holds the power but, the vibrational energy it releases as the words are spoken.
Each sound has it's own unique magic or energy that vibrates as the word is spoken or sung. Both positive or negative words have their own unique signature of energy - each time you speak you are sending unseen vibrations of energy across to the other person or people around you.
Experiment with words, and see if you can pick up their vibrational energies. Try the following exercises to experience the magical powers within words:
1. Send out words of gratitude - such as please, thank you, it's a pleasure and so forth. See the expressions or receptivity of the other person receiving these words and how their attitude or energy changes towards you.
2. Say your prayers out aloud - allow the vibrational energy of each word be a positive force of energy in answering your prayers.
3. Fill a white or black board with positive words. Allow yourself to see these words each day. Allow these words that catch your attention - the words that catch your attention, say these out loud, and see if these words change your energy or attitude that day.
4. Use positive words as a mantra. If you are dealing with a situation use positive words to bring about calm, peace and balance by creating a powerful mantra for yourself.
5. Bless others with your words. Make it your daily ritual to show appreciation and love towards your family and friends. Tell them how much you appreciate them with kind and loving words.
Remember, what words come out your mouth will create the space of energy around you. So, be mindful of your words and the power each one holds.
"There is Some Kiss"
There is some kiss we want
with our whole lives,
the touch of Spirit on the body.
Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell.
And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild Darling!
At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face into mine.
Breathe into me.
Close the language-door,
and open the love-window.
The moon won't use the door,
only the window.
~ Rumi
Speak with love and compassion.

Building the Senses with Clairsentience
Have you ever had an unearthing feeling when you picked up an object , or walked into a building and felt that you have been there or met someone for the first time that but, you feel that you have met them before? This is generally known as Clairsentience, an ability to sense energy from objects, places or people. The energies you feel could be smooth and light, or heavy and abrasive - it could come as a gut-wrenching feeling or a slight tingling sensation up the spine - each of us experience it in many different ways whether it is felt as heat, coolness, tingling sensations or even experienced as pain.
Today, challenge yourself to tap into your intuition. Try this simple exercise to develop your Clairsentient ability.
Ask a friend or a family member if you can "borrow" an item example their watch, something that they use frequently. All objects absorb energy from their owners. Hold the watch in your hand (which ever hand feels comfortable to you) for 1-2 minutes - close your eyes and see if you can sense any kind of energy whether it's positive or negative from the object. Just allow what ever comes into your mind guide you.
If you would like to continue developing your clairsentient abilities continue to practice this with other objects or by going to places (especially, older historic sites) and tap into the energies around you. Simply allow your senses to grow!
"Everyone has psychic abilities. It's just a matter of tapping into it." - Mettrie

Daily Insights: Let Love Be the Center of Your Life
We are creature born out of the essence of love - this love vibrates at the center of every living cell within our bodies, as well in the hearts of all living things.
In this day and age - where we are surrounded by so much busy-ness, technology, noise, as well as the negative strains of illusions, destruction and ego that come from such a high-tech world. It is essential even more so now to delve deep within ourselves to allow love to blossom. To allow the essence of love to help detach ourselves from the illusions and to rather allow us to connect with the eternal and unconditional nature of love.
Open your heart to the love within yourself, allow that basic essence of love to become the substance of your life. Without love nothing would grow or flourish and life itself would cease to exist. When we choose to live from a place of love untold treasures will begin to unfold.
Experience love in all things and share the essence of your love with all living creatures.
Love has no desire but to fulfill itself. To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving. ~ Kahlil Gibran

Daily Insights: Living with a Full Cup of Self-Love
Self-Love defined: Loving yourself completely and unconditionally for who you are.
Self-love is not filling yourself from the outside in - by finding another person to fill full you, or by having material objects to satisfy you or by filling the void with food or drink. Self-love is filling yourself from the inside, by genuinely finding compassion and love for yourself, finding that love that nourishes you and your Soul - so, that you are self-sustained.
So, how can you begin practicing Self-Love in your life?
Everyday find time to do something for yourself - whether you give yourself a hug or find a few minutes of quiet time to reflect on yourself and your needs.
When a decision comes your way - ask yourself whether you are centered and in making a decision what is your highest and best interest - be true to yourself.
If you receive a compliment - graciously accept the compliment with gratitude and humility - enjoy the feeling of someone give you a positive affirmation about yourself.
One of the most effective Self-love exercises you can do is facing yourself in the mirror - look at yourself in the eyes and really "see yourself", then begin to tell yourself how much you "love yourself", how proud you are of yourself, keep finding positive words to tell yourself - you will begin to notice that your eyes being to sparkle and brighten. Enjoy the feeling and practice this daily!
There are many self-love exercises to experiment with, find those exercises that allow the love for yourself to grow! And, please let me know what exercises work for you, I would love to share them with others.
Enjoy and love yourself!
