What do we feed our mind? What is the chatter in your head? Where do you focus your mind?
Focusing your mind on those things which are positive, healthy and true - will allow our lives reflect those things.
Take a moment to note what are you feed your mind? Is it those things that lead to joy, happiness and hope?
Try this simple exercise to help focus your mind on the positive:
- Look for the good and positive in each situation and each person.
- Don't allow your mind to wallow on the negative - speak words that reflect a positive mind.
- Don't play the 'blame game'. No one is to blame for your decisions you make in life. Remember, each situation and each we made decision is here for us to learn and grow!
- Take responsibility for your life decisions and actions.
- Live in the present. Don't live in the past - forgive those that may have brought you hurt - find the lesson and then move forward.
People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong. Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom? ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
