Have you ever experienced the "vibrational" power of the spoken word? Have you ever noticed how peoples words affect you energetically? Whether the words are spoken directly to you or to a group. Have you ever noticed a light of energy being released as, they speak each word and, how that light affects you physically, mentally or emotionally?
One of my most recent experiences was listening to someone read a poem from Rumi - as, the first couple of words left his mouth there was this intense release of light energy that awakened all my senses. I could feel the positive vibrations of those words lift my spirit - when you experience something like that as either for the first time or as a reminder of the power of words, it makes you heart smile!
We should all pay attention to the power within each spoken word. It is not just the words meaning that holds the power but, the vibrational energy it releases as the words are spoken.
Each sound has it's own unique magic or energy that vibrates as the word is spoken or sung. Both positive or negative words have their own unique signature of energy - each time you speak you are sending unseen vibrations of energy across to the other person or people around you.
Experiment with words, and see if you can pick up their vibrational energies. Try the following exercises to experience the magical powers within words:
1. Send out words of gratitude - such as please, thank you, it's a pleasure and so forth. See the expressions or receptivity of the other person receiving these words and how their attitude or energy changes towards you.
2. Say your prayers out aloud - allow the vibrational energy of each word be a positive force of energy in answering your prayers.
3. Fill a white or black board with positive words. Allow yourself to see these words each day. Allow these words that catch your attention - the words that catch your attention, say these out loud, and see if these words change your energy or attitude that day.
4. Use positive words as a mantra. If you are dealing with a situation use positive words to bring about calm, peace and balance by creating a powerful mantra for yourself.
5. Bless others with your words. Make it your daily ritual to show appreciation and love towards your family and friends. Tell them how much you appreciate them with kind and loving words.
Remember, what words come out your mouth will create the space of energy around you. So, be mindful of your words and the power each one holds.
"There is Some Kiss"
There is some kiss we want
with our whole lives,
the touch of Spirit on the body.
Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell.
And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild Darling!
At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face into mine.
Breathe into me.
Close the language-door,
and open the love-window.
The moon won't use the door,
only the window.
~ Rumi
Speak with love and compassion.
