Have you ever caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror while you are walking or sitting? Have you ever noticed your posture? Or that you sit or stand in the same positions over and over again? Take time to become aware of your bodies posture and positions.
Try this simple exercise:
Find one activity (either standing, sitting, or lying down) during the day that calls upon you to change your body position, if you normal sit with your legs crossed, try uncrossing your legs. Practice body awareness, by being conscious of your bodies posture and positions especially in those repetitive activities that we do daily.
You may not yet be able to bring your unconscious mind activity into awareness as thoughts, but it will always be reflected in the body as an emotion, and of this you can become aware. ~ Eckhart Tolle
