Daily Meditation: Showing Gratitude

Re-create your way of thinking:
  • Look within: give thanks for the gift of choice.
  • Look up: remember it's the simple things that get us through the day, and often put a smile on our faces like the birds singing in the tree, or the clouds in the sky.
  • Look within arms reach: give thanks to all that surrounds you: be it your home, your family, your friends.
Learn to be grateful for the small things in life, live without judgment or comparison to others. Be grateful for all your blessings - create a new pattern by embracing and celebrating in the abundance that surrounds you.

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die, so, let us all be thankful. ~ Buddhist
