Daily Meditation: What is Your Happy Color?

Colors are a way we communicate with our emotions. Colors inspire, energize, soothe, and enliven us. Find your happy color - to help bring balance and harmony into your life.

Try this simple
color breathing exercise:
  1. Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down - relax.
  2. Bring your attention to your breathe - begin by deepening and calming your breathe.
  3. As your breathe becomes rhythmic - imagine yourself engulfed in white light - see the white light enter through the crown - connecting you to the Universe.
  4. Now, begin to visualize yourself surrounded by your happy color - visualize the color being drawn up from the earth surrounding and enveloping your entire being.
  5. As you breathe in, imagine you are inhaling your happy color, see it filling your lungs, moving into your heart (take note of your emotions) then spreading throughout your entire body.
  6. As you exhale, visualize any stale, stagnant colors leaving your body.
  7. Keep repeating this cycle of filling your body with your happy color and exhale the stagnant colors - you can do this for 5 minutes or until your feel you have done enough.
  8. Once you are finished the cycle of breathes - mentally bathe your body and entire being in the white light.
  9. As you begin to awaken feel yourself connected to the earth, and feeling completely energized and balanced.
